Intermediate Recurve Archery Course

Course Details and Recommendations:

This 8-section workshop, conducted over 8 months, is designed to progressively develop an archer’s skills from entry level to intermediate level. It is ideal for archers who have completed a beginner program and have been shooting consistently for around 3 months using a full stabilizer setup. While using a clicker is preferred, it is not essential - one section of the course is dedicated to establishing proper click position and learning how to use the clicker effectively. The program emphasizes technique refinement, consistency, and gradual skill development to build a solid foundation for intermediate level archery.

The course takes a comprehensive approach to improving your performance. You will explore the mechanics behind archery, from identifying your perfect anchor point to mastering back tension, smooth release, and true follow-through. Instruction covers the physics of arrow flight, bow mechanics, and fine-tuning stabilizers for optimal balance and accuracy. Hands-on coaching and practical exercises ensure you gain confidence and consistency while developing a deeper understanding of how your form affects every shot.

In addition to technique, the workshop emphasizes equipment care and optimization. You will learn about limb maintenance, bow string selection, nock fit testing, and arrow spine matching, ensuring your gear performs at its best. The course also covers stabilizer setup, balance adjustments, and preventing bow tilt. By the end of the program, you will have refined your shooting form, achieved more consistent execution, and gained the knowledge to maintain and optimize your equipment - preparing you for continued growth as an intermediate archer.
