At Auckland Archery Supplies, we are more than just an archery supply store – we are a passion-driven venture established to ignite the archery journey for enthusiasts of all ages. As a new establishment, we bring a fresh perspective to the world of archery, aiming to foster a community where every archer, from beginners to seasoned competitors, feels supported and inspired.
Founded by a dedicated archer with a decade of experience and a fervent love for the sport, Richard, along with Yami, embarked on this journey to share their expertise and provide a one-stop destination for all things archery.
Richard is a former archery club committee member, with over 10 years' experience in recurve archery and coaching, he holds an Archery NZ Development Coach certification and is particularly known for training competition-focused archers. His coaching is centred on refining technique, building mental resilience, and preparing athletes for high-level performance. Richard has also successfully mentored archers aiming for regional and national competitions (check our News!).
As a family-operated business, we understand the importance of creating a welcoming environment for individuals and families alike.
Our mission is to support archers at every stage of their journey. We are particularly committed to helping beginners gain a clear understanding of how to start the sport. At the same time, we actively guide archers towards competitive opportunities and ensure they have the resources, skills and advanced equipment to support their progress. In addition, we are constantly looking for sponsorship opportunities for talented and high-level athletes to help them reach their full potential on the competition stage.
